The head is the most graspable part of the machine and the least safe one. Nothing on the body says hold here.

A handling failure with an injury at the end of it. This is why error prevention scores 4 and not 3.

The head is hinged, so lifting by it moves the center of mass. Nobody reaches for the easiest handhold expecting it to be the unsafe one.

The mixer will start whether or not its parts are secure, and it is awkward to move safely. It confirms a part when it seats, faintly; nothing tells you when one has not, and the machine will not refuse the mistake.

    Somewhere to hold it

    Handles or recessed grips, so the safe hold is the obvious one.

    The motor does not start unless the bowl and the attachment are fully seated. The mistake is made at 03; this is where it gets caught.

The mess at 06 — dry ingredients coming back out of a locked, running machine. Nothing here answers it.
